Part-Time Legal Receptionist

Award-winning media and commercial law firm based in Central London renowned for its creative industries is seeking to hire a Part-Time Legal Receptionist.

  • 09:00-17:30 working hours (Tuesday-Thursday)

This role would be perfect for someone who is confident dealing with members at all levels at the firm, is a strong team player, and has a flexible and helpful attitude to work as part of the Admin Team to assist them with general administration duties while also delivering a prompt and professional reception service.

Part-Time Legal Receptionist Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet clients on arrival at reception and informing staff members of clients’ arrival
  • Answer telephone calls to the main switchboard promptly and politely
  • Monitor the Reception inbox / emails and deal with messages left on the firm’s general voicemail during out-of-hours periods
  • Manage the bookings for meeting rooms through an on-line calendar system and set up refreshments for meetings and clear boardrooms after meetings
  • Ensure the kitchen and all client facing areas are kept clean and tidy and fully stocked (where applicable)
  • Manage stock and order shopping supplies online
  • Take orders for purchasing lunch and other catering requirements of the firm
  • Manage incoming post and book couriers and taxis etc.
  • Create new client and matter hard copy files
  • Assist at firm and client functions where available

Part-Time Legal Receptionist Skills & Requirements:

  • Must be able to attend the office in-person for the 3 day week
  • Previous experience within a front of house role in a legal (preferred) or professional services environment
  • A proactive team player with a flexible and helpful attitude
