Corporate Paralegal

Market leading US Law Firm client is looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join their innovative team, dealing with matters related to the aviation, shipping & container, rail, and space and satellite industries. Candidates will need solid experience and understanding of working on transactional matters. This will be a permanent role based in the firms stunning London office.

• Salary to £50,000
• Hybrid working (3 days in office / 2 remote)
• Involved role with responsibility and autonomy

The role will require the successful candidate to assist Partners and Associates of the Firm in a range of transactional support, dealing with document preparation, coordination, research and more all while with limited supervision.

Corporate Paralegal Key Responsibilities:
• Collate information and KYC documentation for review and use.
• Drafting transactional ancillary documents including stock transfer forms, share certificates, board minutes.
• Drafting short-form subscription documents such as deeds of adherence, subscription agreements, loan note instruments.
• Completing online Companies House filings such as forms relating to the allotment of shares, director appointments and resignations.
• Preparing and maintaining trackers including share capital trackers showing incoming / outgoing shareholders, loan note trackers, document checklists.
• Arrange files and documents to be signed and approved via DocuSign.
• Stay up to date on laws and regulations and communicate these to attorneys and wider teams.
• Provide Company Secretarial support.

Corporate Paralegal Key Skills & Requirements:
• The client is looking for a candidate who has at least 1-2 years’ experience in a Corporate Legal Department.
• Have an understanding of online resources such as Westlaw, LexisNexis as well as other outlets to perform research and present findings.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organisation, and planning abilities.
• Excellent transactional knowledge.
• Legal Practice Course with Corporate electives and Law Degree or similar.
