A great opportunity with this leading US law firm has arisen for a Business Development Coordinator to join on of their highly successful BD & Marketing Team.

 

  • Salary up to £40,000 plus fantastic benefits
  • Standard hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm, with the firm offering a hybrid working structure of 4 days in the office, 1 remotely
  • Offices located close to City Thameslink and Chancery Lane stations

 

This is a great opportunity for Business Development Assistant or existing Business Development Coordinator who has a keen interest in pursuing a career business development within a global law firm. You will be degree educated and possess a minimum of 18 months’ experience of working within a supportive BD or marketing role within a law firm. Reporting into the Senior BD Manager, the Business Development Coordinator will provide business development and marketing support across all London practice groups on a range of activities.

 

Business Development Coordinator Responsibilities:

 

  • Assisting with the preparation, co-ordination and delivery of pitches, panels and capability statements to tight deadlines
  • Assisting in the follow-up of BD and marketing opportunities and updating pipeline/reporting accordingly
  • Fielding requests for sources of information to support pitches across the business
  • Proactively identifying and monitoring the progress of potential matters and credentials for internal or external promotion in order to regularly feed into directories, website, internal newsletter
  • Supporting the Senior Business Development Manager with various account management tasks
  • Working alongside fee earners and personal assistants to draft legal directory and awards submissions
  • Co-ordinating the approval and distribution of briefings and articles, including proofing, style checks, creation of ebriefings and the scheduling of their distribution to relevant audiences alongside Knowledge Management, the Design team, and personal assistants
  • Supporting the delivery and promotion of webinars and face-to-face events (which may include working outside of normal working hours)
  • Maintaining stocks of marketing collateral, organising for reprints and making minor updates where required, as well as ensuring updated documents (including CVs) are uploaded to the web
  • Providing support on key sponsorships and other external marketing opportunities

 

Business Development Coordinator Requirements:

 

  • Candidates will be educated to degree level in Marketing, Business, English, Law or other relevant subject
  • 1-2 years relevant BD marketing experience in a law firm
  • Strong IT and writing skills as well as a knowledge of CRM systems is advantageous
